James Bond exhibit in Toronto

All the way from London...and no photography allowed? Ishhh...
There's an awesome James Bond exhibit at TIFF Bell Lightbox going on right now and I'd love to have taken a photo of every single thing on display for you, if not for the fact that it's CAD 16.95 per pax just to get in!!!

The William H. Macy refrain in Cooler (2003) comes to mind - "That's too much!"

Part of that 16 bucks must go towards paying the lady at the gate, who even had an English accent and must be some secret agent travelling with the exhibits.

Pah!

Anyway, I took photos of what's in the free areas and also sneaked a shot or two through the shutters.

The scuba mask is apparently from License To Kill (1989)
and the anchor is said to be from the Quantum Of Solace (2008) set.
JAMES BOND BIKINIS
Bikinis as worn by Jinx (Halle Berry) in Die Another Day (2002)
and Honey Rider (Ursula Andress) in Dr. No (1962)
.
Swimming trunks as worn by Daniel Craig in Casino Royale (2006)
and Sean Connery in Thunderball (1965).

M's office
Stella Rimington must be getting a cut too.
From The World Is Not Enough (1999)

The World Is Not Enough (1999) costume designer Lindy Hemming donated these.
The most expensive movie stunt of all time...
I don't buy it. 6'2" is not too unusual to find a ski suit for, surely?
Oh, that reminds me. I have yet to see Skyfall because I fell into a marketing trap a month back when I bought advance tickets to get cinema loyalty points and messed up my dates.

Next time I'm here at the Lightbox, I'll visit the X-Men exhibit. Till then, take it easy folks.
